Bogotá in brick color tone
The works bequeathed by architect Rogelio Salmona are an additional tourist attraction as much by the quality of their buildings and urban spaces as by their documentary value in the urban development of Bogota.
Rogelio Salmona’s master work in addition to its meaning for the national architecture history, it is a cultural product to be red in brick color tones, in lights and shades, as a point of reference of aesthetic popular, as an expression of collective memory and as an exploration of a personal speech of the urban universe. Most of the citizens who live, walk, and dream the city, are identified with it. The work integration of architecture and urbanism to the subject of the Cultural Tourism in Bogotá, is an important step for the mixing of a model of management of the sustainable cultural patrimony, that participates in the economic dynamics of the city.
